In “Trapped”, this is Kathrin’s view from her living room window in Auburn, Washington. What resembles a humongous ice cream cone is Mount Rainier at sunset. The mountain appears huge even though it’s fifty miles away from Auburn. I imagine it’s because the mountain is over fourteen thousand feet high. Another beautiful facet is its snow cap is visible year around. Mt. Rainier takes fifth place as the tallest mountain in continental US. Mt. Whitney in California is the tallest in the continent.
