Many movies leave me feeling blah or upset. But this true story, “Kidnapped Redemption,” shows that the human heart can be capable of amazing love and good beyond what it is normally seen. So I came away feeling uplifted and deeply touched, an experience that was well worth the 50 minutes. It makes you think. To watch the movie, click on the blue button.
It’s not stated in the film, but I think that Phillis Sorter’s ability to love her kidnappers and survive this nightmare was given to her by Jesus’ Holy Spirit. Since part of book one, “The Captive” takes place in Africa, this movie will give you a good idea what it’s like.
