Did you see this rare phenonium?

Obviously, this picture was not taken in Tonasket! LOL I used the photo because it’s the closest to what I saw. I was changing water in our field when the immensity of the sun’s halo amazed me. The perfectly round space inside the halo appeared darker like a heavy rain cloud. Not far from it, a “sun dog” showed off its bright rainbow colors.  According to Google, both are rare and are caused by the sun reflecting off ice crystals in the Earth’s atmosphere and by refraction–the splitting of light. Because of scattered clouds, Wenatchee could see only a portion of it, but its size surprised them as well. Throughout our many years, several of us senior citizens have never seen one like this. Have you? We just never know what wonders God has in store for us.
