Since we’re starting a new year, what was one of your favorite experiences in life? Your wedding day and children are a given … but instead think of a treasured time with them or just your experience alone. Please, share your story with us in the comment section. One of my favorites is my husband, Ron, driving down Ireland’s narrow, country road. Just him and me. I love the adventure and excitement we shared. Notice in the photo, what side of the road the cars are traveling on. Ron was driving when I took this photo. He tried to remember to drive on the opposite side of the road from the opposite side of the car. Opposite, that is, for an American. In the photo it may seem they’re driving on the wrong side of the road, but not so in Ireland. We stopped at a restaurant/pub on the west side of Ireland. They spoke Irish Gaelic which surprised us. We assumed everyone communicated in English all the time. I love to take you along in my writing to places I’ve traveled.
